<line /><line /><line>Bridal Gown of</line><line /><line>Magnolia Velvet</line><line /><line>An orchid was fastened to the parchment prayer book carried by Miss Loloma Bessell Wurr when she was married at the Wesley College chapel last night to Mr. George Elliott Derrick.</line><line /><line>The Rev. E. Nye officiated.</line><line /><line>The bride, who was given away by her mother, is the only daughter of Mrs. K. Wurr, of Prince's Hill, and the bride- groom is the only son of Mrs. G. O. Derrick and of the late Mr, Derrick, York street, St. Kilda.</line><line /><line>Magnolia-tinted velvet fashioned the simply cut bridal gown, which had a high [rolled neckline, and long tight-fitting</line><line /><line>sleeves falling in points over the hands. The skirt was flared, and extended into a long train at the back. Over an unusual coif of velvet, the bride wore a veil of very old heavy French lace, given to her by the bridegroom's . grandmother, Mrs. J. W. Elliott.</line><line /><line>Miss Phyllis Bird was the only brides- maid. She wore a lime-green long-sleeved velvet gown, cut with a heart-shaped neck- line, with the skirt fulness softly draped to the front, and a matching chiffon sari caught at the left shoulder with a green orchid.</line><line /><line>Mr. Norman Barlow was the best man, and Messrs. Lisle Wurr and Douglas Ar buthnot were ushers. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Dell, The Block, Elizabeth street.</line><line /><line>Close</line><line />
