        Influenza Victims.-Yesterday word was received by Mrs. Bessell, of the Esplanade, that the wife of her son (Sergt. C. A. Bessell. who is on active service), died in Melbourne during the morning as the result of Spanish influenza. Deceased leaves four little children. Only a week ago Mrs. Bessell's son-in-law died in Melbourne of the same disease, leaving a widow and four children.
