Bridalveil Creek 1
The first stop on our California road trip was Yosemite National Park. We woke up very early and travelled from Santa
Cruz to Yosemite via Route 140 across the Central Valley. The Central Valley wasn't very nice to look at, it was full of
cattle feed lots and run down rural towns. Cindy didn't care for the look or smell of the feed lots. We were glad when we
reached the foothills of the western Sierras.
We travelled on a wet Monday just before Christmas so there weren't a lot of people around when we got to Yosemite.
There had been a lot of rain the week before so all the waterfalls were running hard. I set up my camera on a tripod at the
edge of Bridalveil Creek and took a long exposure of the stream.
