 Eastern fox squirrel

Eastern fox squirrel

The fox squirrels will bite acorns off the backyard oak then come down and bury them for later consumption. This squirrel is eating an acorn it has horked out of the ground. The acorns that aren't recovered often sprout into small oaks, so it works out well for tree and squirrel.
