I was working in Altadena in 2012 when I heard that the Endeavour would be carried past the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena on its way to static display at the Los Angeles Science Center. So I drove the few miles over to a vantage point near JPL to catch a photo. Sure enough there was a large crowd of folks on the sidewalk, and I caught this single photo.

The carrier came in very low and loud and the crowd whooped it up. It was quite an incredible scene.
