The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek art museum has an extensive
collection of (perhaps looted, then "laundered" through European art houses?) artifacts from Ancient Egypt including two
mummified bodies on public display. This was my first time seeing funeral objects from Ancient Egypt. Their very literal
approach to what they believed to be the afterlife resulted in some very odd and interesting objects being buried with
their well-preserved corpses.
